Ten Errors of The Da Vinci Code
Error 1: The Bible is a product of countless  translations, additions and revisions. Karms says the biblical documents are  static, unchanging. We have multiple copies of them from the first, second, and  third centuries; which predates Constantine. The Bible was assembled by the  Emperor Constantine.
Answer 1: No, the Bible was put together well before  Constantine came on the scene.

Error 2: There were eighty additional  gospels.
Answer 2: No. There were a few gospels circulating, which claimed  to be authentic ”early Christians clearly knew they were not.

Error 3: The main gospel account The Da Vinci Code is based on is a Gnostic  gospel.
Answer 3: Agnosticism was an early heresy that cropped up in  Christian circles. It was written about 150 years after the time of Christ.

Error 4: Opus Dei organization have mad monks that are out killing  people.
Answer 4: Opus Dei doesn't even have monks at all in their order.

Error 5: The deity of Christ was invented by the Council of Nicea  hand-in-hand with Constantine.
Answer 5: No, the deity of Christ is clearly  taught in Scripture.

Error 6: Jesus was married to Mary Magdalene who is  to be worshiped as a goddess.
Answer 6: There is absolutely no historical  evidence for this.

Error 7: Early Christians practiced goddess worship.
Answer 7: There is no historical evidence for this.

Error 8: The  name Yahweh is derived from two Hebrew words, one masculine and the other  feminine.
Answer 8: No, the word Yahweh is derived from the single Hebrew  word which translates to be. Remember, God introducing himself to Moses as I AM  that I AM.

Error 9: The Dead Sea Scrolls, The Da Vinci Code claims  contain the earliest Christian writings.
Answer 9: That is impossible  because the Dead Sea Scrolls predated Christianity.

Error 10:   Christianity borrowed its ideas from pagan sources.
Answer 10: While there  are some similarities between Christianity and other religions, that doesn't  mean that Christianity borrowed from them or that they borrowed from  Christianity. It just means there are similarities. Again, there is basis in  fact.
